Lady Fox Accessories - Neon via @houseofturtle

Lately, I’m more than a little obsessed with Lady Fox Accessories, a unique and fun range of jewellery and accessories from Melbourne designer, Penelope Dudgeon. You’ve probably seen a few of her pieces here on my blog before or featured on my instagram feed, such as the neon pink and gold Carrie necklace, and the black and white gold Spike necklace.

I quickly snapped up 4 new necklaces including the absolutely incredible Renaissance necklace and the very sweet Vintage Floral necklace in bronze (featured below).

Beautiful, tragic and wanting

There is nothing that is not fabulous about Emmy Rossum‘s cover and appearance in Genlux (a luxury magazine created for the affluent Southern Californian woman). She reminds me of one of Alexandre Dumas’ heroines from the 17th century. Beautiful, tragic and wanting.

I also love that she is wearing Australia’s own, Samantha Wills Black Star ring, available now for $259. So stunning that it can be worn for special occasions for years to come!

H-O-T Trend: Get Chunky Baby

I’ve always been a big fan of chunky rings. So, I’m obviously loving that they seem to be back on trend in the fashion world.

Wear one on its own, or go all out and wear a few. I’m a more is better kinda girl though! Just remember, to make the look work, it needs to be boho luxe, not bling bling!

Here are a few of my favourites:
1. Mania Mania Immortals Ring
2. soixante neuf silver hammered ring
3. Low Luv by Erin Wasson Aztec & Snake rings

If you’re thinking of adopting the trend as a seasonal thing, rather than an investment, check out cost effective options from Diva and Sportsgirl.

I’m bursting with double rays of Harlow

House of Harlow 1960 has finally arrived! Miijo (my fave online shopping indulgence) are the exclusive stockist of Nicole Ritchie’s fabulous jewellery collection, named after daughter Harlow. Inspired by the bohemian, gypsy and flower power looks of the ’60s and ’70s, this fabulous range is made of gold-plated metals, leather, fabrics, chains and rivets, and is designed to be mixed and matched, stacked and layered. It mirrors Ritchie’s own unique style of soft and edgy – hard and soft. And, I’m loving it!

I placed my pre-order with Miijo months ago for the Double Sunburst Stations Necklace, and it finally arrived today (it probably wasn’t that long ago, but it really felt like it, considering they normally deliver pretty much the next day if it’s in stock). I put the necklace on immediately and flaunted it around the office. The guys were unimpressed and thinking I should get back to writing brochures, but I got many oohs and aahs from the girls. We all agreed that it truly completed my chosen outfit for the day – which consisted of a black dress, a cropped Fleur Wood lace vest, short tan boots, silver Metalicus tights, and lots of leather and gold jewelery. Success!

Check out the full House of Harlow range at Miijo… there’s funky cuffs, chunky rings, and some great stackable rings and bracelets. This is definitely a label worth watching… affordable too.

Double Sunburst Stations Necklace

PS. Ok, here’s the truth. I already knew the necklace was arriving this morning. So, when I got dressed, I kind of had the necklace in mind… it didn’t all just ‘magically’ happen. Miijo send an email letting you know when your order is on its way. 😉
