spoil mum and save the honey bees

Spoil Mum this Mothers’ Day and help save mother nature’s honey bees with Mum’s very own pair of Honey Bees – which are kind of like a cross between thongs/ flip-flops and sandals, but really more like thongs. 😉

Grace and the Honey Bees - House of Turtle Honey Bees are super comfy, super cute and perfect for a stroll to the shops, on the way to yoga, wearing around the house or sipping on a soy latte (or your preferred hot drink) at your favourite cafe.

At only $29.95, grab your Mum a pair and a pair for yourself. You’ll also be helping to save the honey bees… And, when you buy Mum a pair of Honey Bees during April or May, you’ll go into the draw to win her a matching flower bouquet.

Honey Bees are available in a range of bright, neutral and pastel colours at honeybees.com.au.

Project Runway designers go green for Enviroweek

Sneak peak at Amber Renae’s avant-garde designs for Enviroweek

The Project Runway Australia gang are back… and they’re going green!

Anthony Capon, Mark Neighbour, Jason Chetcuti and Amber Renae joined forces with the fab crew at Wrapped by housemouse to create avant-garde frocks to show their support for Enviroweek.

Here’s a quick note from the very stylish and lovely Amber Renae requesting your help to support Enviroweek too…

Hi… Hope you’re fab! As you may be aware Enviroweek is on again – this is a national initiative aimed at raising funds for various environmental charities and organizations. Their motto is simple: “Change your habits for a week and reap the benefits for a lifetime”.

Enviroweek relies on motivated individuals to build brand awareness and credibility for the campaign. To help support the cause, and in true Project Runway style; Anthony Capon, Mark Neighbour, Jason Chetcuti and myself have created incredible avant-garde frocks made entirely out of recycled paper, courtesy of Wrapped by housemouse.

The frocks will be revealed at the end of Enviroweek, but in the meantime we need your assistance in raising funds to support this cause. You can check out our initiatives online – follow the link to make a small donation.

Every bit helps. You don’t need to be a greenie to be green. It just makes good sense to take care of our life support system – our environment. Who wants to breathe foul air, swim in polluted water, and live on a poisoned planet?

This is your chance to make a world of difference…your support will greatly impact on the success of Enviroweek.

Please forward to your environmentally aware friends

Amber Xx

Enviroweek runs from 11-17 October 2009 (yes, that’s this week – so hurry)
