Lately, I’m more than a little obsessed with Lady Fox Accessories, a unique and fun range of jewellery and accessories from Melbourne designer, Penelope Dudgeon. You’ve probably seen a few of her pieces here on my blog before or featured on my instagram feed, such as the neon pink and gold Carrie necklace, and the black and white gold Spike necklace.

I quickly snapped up 4 new necklaces including the absolutely incredible Renaissance necklace and the very sweet Vintage Floral necklace in bronze (featured below).

spoil mum and save the honey bees

Spoil Mum this Mothers’ Day and help save mother nature’s honey bees with Mum’s very own pair of Honey Bees – which are kind of like a cross between thongs/ flip-flops and sandals, but really more like thongs. 😉

Grace and the Honey Bees - House of Turtle Honey Bees are super comfy, super cute and perfect for a stroll to the shops, on the way to yoga, wearing around the house or sipping on a soy latte (or your preferred hot drink) at your favourite cafe.

At only $29.95, grab your Mum a pair and a pair for yourself. You’ll also be helping to save the honey bees… And, when you buy Mum a pair of Honey Bees during April or May, you’ll go into the draw to win her a matching flower bouquet.

Honey Bees are available in a range of bright, neutral and pastel colours at honeybees.com.au.

make your own delicious yoghurt

I got my tonsils out a few days ago… And well, let’s just say it doesn’t tickle… And recovery time is slow and a bit arduous. As for food, well the days of ice cream and jelly are apparently over, with the doctors encouraging you to eat normally, which for the most part I have been.

That said, soft food is still a winner. But, as someone who is not a massive fan of ice cream (don’t look so shocked) I decided to try natural yoghurt. Problem is it can be a bit tart.

So to make it interesting I decided to mix in some Bonne Maman jam to sweeten it. The result… a delicious yoghurt too good not to share with you all. I used the Raspberry flavour, but I imagine any of the other flavours are just as good. Give it a try. You’ll love it!

Part 2 in my out of the blue series features the shades of blue we see in our natural environment, as opposed to objects. It’s natures way off inspiring us to try new colour combinations when we style ourselves or our homes and offices.

I took these shots on my old iPhone 3 on a recent trip to Sydney. Somehow I managed to capture the right moment at the right time each time. It was a stunning day in Bondi as we started our walk from Tamarama ‘Glamarama’ beach to Bondi, one of the first nice days Sydney had seen for some time. As you can see, it brought out the masses.

It’s hard for me to pick a favourite from these shots because I love them all for different reasons. If I had to though, it would be the blue and orange push bike. Not only is it the coolest bike ever, its a great colour combo. Which is your favourite?

It’s no big secret that I love the colour blue… In all shades, shapes and sizes… in clothing, shoes, accessories, objects, nature… Pretty much in anything and everything. I even barrack for Carlton ‘The Blues’ in the AFL.

Why do I love blue so much? Who knows! I like to think that it’s because the many shades of blue remind me of the sky and the sea… vast, volatile, opportunistic and calming.

Here’s a recap of some of my blue moments from Instagram. Which is your favourite?
