Guys, look sharp and suit up… the Spring Racing Carnival is nearly here

With one of the biggest horse racing and social events of the year only six weeks away, it’s not just the girls who need to get their outfits ready. Guys are increasingly paying more and more attention to what to wear to the races, and with so many suits out there it can be hard to know where to start.

Arthur Galan‘s latest collection of men’s suits will have you looking stylish from start to finish. Reasonably priced, these suits are a perfect way to express your style and impress the ladies at the races. And, you can dress them down too for other occasions.

With their sophisticated detail and slim-line leg, these suits remind me of old world crooners; Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, back in the days of The Rat Pack. These guys knew how to dress, impress… and party!

The biggest questions you really need to ask this year are “Should I wear black or grey?” and “Am I brave enough to wear a bow tie?”

Derby Day is traditionally black and white day for women, and grey for men – but why not go for a darker suit, like Arthur Galan’s black suit with white trimming (see above). Lighter greys are perfect for Oaks and Stakes Days, and well… anything goes for The Cup.

As for the bow tie… Do it. You’ll get lots of attention. And, depending on how many drinks you’ve had, the girls will probably be wearing it by the end of the day (the same way you steal our hats and fascinators).

If you think it’s all a bit preppy… Don’t! Carlton Football Club‘s, Brendan Fevola and Marc Murphy, were both dressed by Arthur Galan at the Brownlow this week.

See you looking sharp at the races!
